Well first off, let me say that this artwork caught my attention on my first visit. I don't know what it is, I gotta say it's alluring.
Starting off with this young summon Shiva, not once I've seen any appearance of this summon never looked so young in Final Fantasy. I find it adorable for the first time I first lay my eyes on.
She's quite different, but not too different to make Shiva appear unfamiliar.
You probably knew already what she looked like, but not this one. When she's younger, Shiva is lookin more *ahem* sexy in the sense. The most interesting part about this is her face. I gotta say that's lovely, plus with the pose combination, hoo boy, her ice shards could pierce through our hearts! (In a good way.)
For the background, I don't have much to say about this one. It fits the scene nicely, but to be honest... nothing special strikes me there.
And of course, I do not see any problems with tracing nor the colors. Young Shiva is still the same, and for a few extra points... the choice of colors are excellent. Purple and blue combinations are appropriate for this. Especially those colors fits quite nicely with the background, and for the designs, they're COOL... (brrrrrr)
To top it off, this is a breath taking attempt to create a wonderful summon and made our hearts melt. And I am quite proud of you for putting great effort into this. ^,^
